The Controltech SLA (Super Light Alloy) Compact Alloy Road handlebar is constructed from 7050 aluminum. Tests show that this alloy has strength and durability comparable to many steels but is significantly lighter. Not just strength and durability, the 7050 aluminum is one of the most comfortable alloys too! The compact option refers to the bend of the bar which will fit in perfectly for riders who prefer to have a higher drop position.
