KASK Protone Icon Helmet
The KASK Protone Icon Helmet balances performance, aerodynamics and safety in a redesigned helmet for road, gravel, cyclocross and MTB cross-country riding. Built as KASK's new classic, every aspect has been refined to deliver a comfortable, stable and aerodynamic fit for demanding training and racing.
A redesigned internal frame improves the helmet's mechanical strength and compactness, helping maintain the helmet's structural integrity in the event of an impact. Seamless technology joins the upper and lower shell sections for a refined finish while also contributing to the helmet's aerodynamic performance.
The new OCTOFIT+ adjustment system provides a precise, customised fit with an over-injected rubber dial for improved grip. Its redesigned vertical stabiliser provides ergonomic support around the nape of the neck, helping improve stability and balance while accommodating riders with longer hair.
Comfort is further enhanced by the removable and washable CoolMax® internal lining, while the faux leather chinstrap provides a soft, easy-to-clean and anallergic contact surface. A reflective insert at the rear adds visibility, and the Protone Icon is developed according to KASK's Rotational Impact WG11 Test protocol for assessing helmet performance against rotational impacts.

Upgraded to the Ergon SR Sport Men saddle for my road bike and the relief is immediate. The flat profile suits a forward-leaning position, and the deep relief channel eliminates soft-tissue pressure on long rides. Excellent power transfer without the numbness.
