🛠️ Installation Guide – Get It Right the First Time ✅
- Remove your tyre and any existing rim tape. Use a Disc Brake Cleaner to eliminate all grease and residue.
- Thoroughly clean and dry the rim—this is crucial for strong tape adhesion.
- Starting two spokes behind the valve hole, press the tape firmly into the center channel and smooth toward the edges, eliminating any trapped air.
- Apply with tension as you work around the rim. Finish two spoke holes past the valve for best overlap and security.
- Inspect for trapped air—if any bubbles appear, push them toward the nearest spoke hole to release.
- Pierce the valve hole cleanly with a sharp spike.
- Remove the valve dust cap, o-ring, and lock ring. Push the valve through the hole.
- Reattach the o-ring and tighten the lock ring by hand—ensure no air can escape.
- Reinstall the tyre, add Peaty’s Tubeless Sealant, and inflate to your preferred pressure.
- Get back out there and ride! 🚴♂️💨
