How to Use the Peaty's HoleShot CO2 Inflator
Get back on the trail fast with these simple steps:
- Prep Your Valve
Remove the valve cap and unscrew the valve core. Press down to confirm airflow—there should be a short burst of air. - Fit the Freeze Protector Sleeve (Only Available In Peaty's HoleShot CO2 Tyre Inflator Kit)
Slide the closed-base silicone sleeve over your CO2 cartridge to protect your fingers during use. - Install the CO2 Cartridge
Screw the cartridge tightly into the inflator head until fully pierced. A short hiss indicates it's punctured and ready—if not, press the valve briefly to release a ‘tsssst’ of gas. - Inflate the Tyre
Press the inflator head straight onto the Presta valve and push down firmly. The tyre will inflate rapidly. Release pressure to stop the airflow. - Secure the Valve
Once inflated, remove the inflator, tighten the valve core, and replace the valve cap. - Ready to Roll

- Cartridge Limit
Only use CO₂ cartridges of 25g or smaller. - Avoid Ice Build-Up
If using multiple cartridges in one session, wait at least 30 seconds between each to allow the inflator head to warm up. - Secure Attachment
Always screw the CO₂ cartridge fully and tightly into the inflator head before use to prevent gas leaks or injury. - Test Before Inflating
Check that the cartridge is pierced properly by briefly pressing the head against a hard, heat-resistant surface. Ensure strong gas flow is visible. - Do Not Remove Prematurely
Only remove the CO₂ cartridge once it is fully discharged. - Confirm Full Discharge
After each use, press the head several times against a hard surface to ensure no gas remains. - Point Away from People
Always point the inflator head away from yourself and others during use. - Inspect Before Use
Do not use if any part of the inflator appears cracked or damaged. - Temperature Warning
