Shimano Ultegra ST-R8170 Shift/Brake Lever
The Shimano Ultegra ST-R8170 Shift/Brake Lever combines fast wireless Di2 shifting with powerful hydraulic disc braking to deliver outstanding performance for road cyclists. Sharing technology developed for DURA-ACE, the ST-R8170 offers precise gear changes, refined ergonomics and enhanced braking control, allowing you to ride faster and with greater confidence.
Featuring Shimano's proven SERVO WAVE brake technology, the Ultegra ST-R8170 provides improved modulation and lever feel while the wireless Di2 platform creates a cleaner cockpit with easier installation and maintenance. Designed for performance road bikes, it delivers the speed, reliability and efficiency expected from Shimano's flagship electronic shifting systems.
Wireless Di2 Shifting
The wireless Di2 shifter communicates seamlessly for fast, accurate and reliable electronic shifting while reducing cockpit clutter for a cleaner, more aerodynamic setup.
SERVO WAVE Hydraulic Braking
Shimano's SERVO WAVE technology increases braking modulation by expanding the control zone throughout the lever stroke, delivering more precise braking and greater confidence in all riding conditions.
Refined Ergonomics
Developed using feedback from professional riders, the raised hood profile and smoother lever action provide improved hand comfort, natural control and reduced fatigue on long rides.
Compatible & Expandable
The ST-R8170 supports both wired and wireless Di2 configurations and includes dedicated ports for SD300 wiring and compatible satellite shifters, allowing riders to customise their shifting setup.
Long Battery Life
Powered by easily replaceable CR1632 batteries, each shifter delivers approximately 1.5 to 2 years of battery life under normal riding conditions.

Good service
First time using this as i was using another plant based degreaser. Used it to remove all the lubricant on my ebike drive train to prep it was use of waxed chain.
Perform well as describe. I only need to use it 2x to get rid all existing lube n dirt.
Highly recommended
Got this to wax it and then replace it on my stock kmc chain on my ebike. Wax is the way for me than normal chain lubrication.
A bit hard to break the chain to my desire length but once i passed that stage, all smooth.
Performance was good and no more black stain on my socks or hands.
Excellent service
And great advice on bike safety
As always, service was excellent. Service staff were efficient and friendly. Thank you

Did my yearly full bike service for my BMC road bike. When I picked up the bike it was like new. Nothing to complain about. Definitely a good value for price paid.
Comfortable, light, and great ventilation! Loving it so far.
