New Era Cycle Store

Thank You for shopping at New Era Cycle. We appreciate the fact that you like the products and services from us. We also want to make sure you have an amazing experience while you’re exploring, evaluating, and purchasing our product at New Era Cycle. (To make it visually easier on both of us, we’ll refer to this entity as the “NEC Store” in this policy.)

As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at NEC Store. The main thing to remember is that by placing an order, you agree to the terms & conditions, terms of use and privacy policy.

Online Purchasing (Order Acceptance/Confirmation)

Once we receive your order, we’ll provide you with an email order confirmation. Your receipt of an order confirmation, however, does not signify New Era Cycle’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell; we are simply confirming that we received your order. New Era Cycle reserves the right at any time after receiving your order to accept, review or decline your order for any reason. If New Era Cycle cancels an order after you have already been billed, New Era Cycle will refund the bill amount to the same payment method.

Returns / Exchange (Acceptance)

We fundamentally believe you will be thrilled with the products you purchased from us. We understand, however, that sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be. In that unlikely event, we invite you to review the following terms related to our acceptance of returning a product.

  1. 1.     Our return/exchange is valid for 30 day(s) from the date of order.
  2. 2.     Product(s) to be return in showroom conditions/unopen/unsealed/undamaged within the return time frame. We’ll exchange it, offer similar items with a top up or store credits.
  3. 3.     Returns / exchange is not eligible for clearance and preorder item(s).
  4. 4.     You will need to arrange a fully trackable courier service(s) for return or visit New Era Cycle showroom within the operating hours.

  5. 5.     In the event that you opt for return / exchange via courier service(s), we will ship the exchanged product(s) via standard delivery (For Singapore Address Orders). For international orders, you will be subjected for the delivery charges. See our delivery policy here. 

Cancelling an order

You can request an order cancellation by sending us an email to retail@neweracycle.com . Order cancellation is eligible if the order(s) has not been shipped. A refund fee will be charged if the conditions are not met. Please see the refunds terms.

Refund

Once the return or cancellation of order is accepted, we will refund to the same following payment method that you have made. However, you will not be getting a full refund as a refund fee will be charged if you initiate a request to cancel or return an order.

Refund fees are as followed:

  1. 1.     Credit card/Apple Pay/Google Pay: 3.4% (of the total order value) + S$4
  2. 2.     PayPal: S$4 

Delivery & Self-collection

Please review our delivery policy page to learn about how and when you will receive the products you purchase from us. Since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond New Era Cycle control once it leaves our facilities, New Era Cycle cannot be held liable for late deliveries. We will, however, work with you to ensure a smooth delivery.

As New Era Cycle ensures a smooth dispatch of the products you purchased from “NEC Store”, the risk of loss of, or damage to, product(s) shall pass to you when you, or a person designated to you, acquires physical possession of the product(s). Therefore, the title of the product(s) shall pass to you when the product(s) is picked up by the carrier from our warehouse. At this point, you will receive the shipment notification email. If there are any issues with delivery, please contact New Era Cycle for assistance. 

Reward Points and Reward Program

Reward points are issued by New Era Cycle. You can accumulate reward points and claim it for your next purchase. Every S$1 you spend, you will earn 1 reward point. There will be no expiry date, fees or limits on the points each account can earn.  

However, your account may be removed from our reward program or cancellation of your balance reward points should New Era Cycle discover any fraudulent transaction(s). Trust us, we are good at figuring it out... be nice to us.
